**Please note - Cafe teams will be open later in the year, once charities have been confirmed. To register your interest in serving on a cafe team, please email email@example.com**
If you like to serve in a practical way, why not join one of our fun, friendly and dedicated Café teams? You'll be with the same team throughout the week and serve on shift, so can also enjoy lots of the main United programme. As with most team places, your event ticket and all meals are free of charge.
Most of our cafés are sponsored by charities so you will have the choice of which charity you apply for. The sponsors will be announced on this page shortly. The café manager for your preferred café will then handle your application. Barista or shop/catering experience is desirable but not essential, as some training will be provided.

Shift patterns vary between venues so will be confirmed by the café manager following successful application. All team are expected to help with set up and pack down of the café at the start and close of the event. Cafés may stay open during the midweek rest day, although managers will try to arrange shift patterns to allow for time off.
Expectation for team members
Those who volunteer for New Wine teams at United do so based on their Christian profession and way of life. As a team volunteer, your conduct on site is expected to be consistent with New Wine's ethos and understanding of the teaching of the New Testament.
Part of New Wine’s ethos is our adherence to the Evangelical Alliance (EA) basis of faith and in submitting your team application you are acknowledging your acceptance to do the same.
